Flower Bookmark

My last post mentioned this beautiful bookmark I received while at Leadership in January.  The trick to this flower is the layering - add Dimensionals between each layer...between each flower layer is also a circle.  Really makes this project pop!

3-D Flower

As you can see, I've fallen in love with making flowers using the Fun Flowers die.  I received a beautiful bookmark (check back in a couple of days to see that project) from Stampin' Up! while at Leadership in January that I've modified into this darling project.  Crumple up the die-cut flowers then spritz them with Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed with 70% Rubbing Alcohol (not the 90-95% - it clogs).  Take a simple jar, decorate it, then insert the flower stem.  I hope you enjoy!

Beautiful Flowers & Texture

I received a beautiful card from Stampin' Up! and decided to modify it for an event.  Rich colors are my favorite and this card showcases them in style.  We used the Fun Flowers Die (Big Shot) to create the flowers, then embossed specific sections using an Embossing Folder and roughed it up with ink.  I love the look and hope you enjoy it, too.

You are "Just My Type"!

I was heavily inspired by my muse, Robin, for this card.  I love the old-world look with the typewritten image and designer paper.  Give it an aged look and it's classic!  This is anothe card we made at my April EXPRESS Card Class.  Register for the June Class for all new card ideas.

Simple and Elegant

I know...I'm teasing you a bit with these fabric rosettes.  They are no longer available, but you absolutely could reformat this idea using items that you do have.  Or, if you are lucky enough to have some of these rosettes still in your stamp room, why not whip up a few of these darling cards?

     

If you look at my Spring Stamp Camp projects, you'll see a mini-version of this card on the Vintage Collage frame.  I loved the simplicity so much that I made it into a full-size card.  Tone on tone...very delicate looking.

What a Week!

The graduation festivities are over (at least until next year!) and I'm very much looking forward to a relaxing time away from our daily responsibilities.  My computer still isn't speaking to my camera, so I am unable to upload any pics from Devin's graduation.  Something to look forward to (even if only for me  Ü)!!
